Welcome to Bellé Vie Archive. These Terms & Conditions apply when you visit, browse, use, or purchase from our website: belleviearchive.com.

In these Terms, “we”, “us”, “our” and “Belle Vie Archive” refer to Belle Vie Archive. “You” and “your” refer to any customer, visitor, or user of our website.

By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Returns & Refunds Policy.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit, exclude, or modify any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.


1. About Bellé Vie Archive

Bellé Vie Archive is an online curated designer archive and pre-loved fashion store.

We source, curate, list, and arrange fulfilment of selected designer, archive, vintage, and pre-owned fashion items. Some products may be held directly by us, while others may be sourced through trusted third-party suppliers, sourcing agents, or fulfilment partners.

Although some items may be fulfilled by third-party logistics or sourcing partners, your purchase is made directly with Belle Vie Archive.

We are not officially affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any designer brand unless clearly stated.


2. Product Condition and Pre-Owned Items

Many items sold by Belle Vie Archive are pre-owned, vintage, archive, or sourced from third-party suppliers. These items may show signs of previous use, age, storage, handling, or natural wear.

We aim to describe each item as accurately as possible, including available information about:

  • brand;
  • size;
  • condition;
  • measurements;
  • colour;
  • material, where known;
  • authenticity details, where available.

Because many items are pre-owned or archive pieces, minor imperfections may be present. These may include light wear, fading, marks, loose threads, creasing, scratches, small stains, odour from storage, or other signs of age and previous use.

These characteristics are part of buying pre-owned and archive fashion and are not automatically considered faults unless the item is materially different from its description or fails to meet a consumer guarantee under Australian Consumer Law.


3. Product Images and Colour Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to display product images, colours, sizing, and details accurately.

However, colours may appear differently depending on your screen, lighting, device settings, and photography conditions. Product images may also include close-up photos, model photos, reference photos, or supplier-provided images.

If a product photo is a reference image, styling image, or supplier image, we may state this on the product page where practical.


4. Authenticity, Inspection and Verification

Bellé Vie Archive aims to source and supply genuine designer, archive, vintage, and pre-owned fashion items.

Before dispatch, selected items may undergo a verification, inspection, or quality-control process through third-party inspection providers, marketplace verification services, sourcing partners, or other commercially reasonable methods available to us.

This process may include checking available product images, labels, tags, construction details, packaging, condition, supplier information, marketplace verification records, and other relevant indicators. The exact verification method may vary depending on the item, brand, age, source, documentation available, and the services available at the time.

Where an item has been checked by a third-party inspection or verification service, Bellé Vie Archive relies on that service as part of our review process. Such checks are intended to reduce risk, but they do not replace any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

If we identify a concern regarding authenticity, condition, availability, or product accuracy before dispatch, we may cancel the order and provide a refund.

If you believe an item you received is not as described or has an authenticity issue, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number, clear photos, and any supporting evidence. We will assess the matter in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Nothing in this section limits, excludes, or modifies your rights under Australian Consumer Law.


5. Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected item.

Your order is accepted only when we confirm the order and begin processing it. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order where reasonable, including where:

  • the item is unavailable;
  • the product was incorrectly priced;
  • the product information contained an error;
  • we suspect fraud, unauthorised payment, or misuse of our website;
  • the supplier or fulfilment partner cannot provide the item;
  • the item fails our quality or authenticity checks before dispatch;
  • shipping to your location is unavailable or impractical.

If we cancel your order after payment has been made, we will provide a refund for the cancelled item.


6. Availability and Sourcing

Because we operate as a curated archive store and may source items through third-party suppliers or fulfilment partners, product availability may change quickly.

An item appearing on our website does not guarantee that it is still available at the time we process your order.

If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we may:

  • offer a replacement or alternative item;
  • offer store credit, where permitted and accepted by you;
  • cancel the order and provide a refund.

We will not charge you for an item we cannot supply.


7. Pricing and Payment

Delivery times shown on our website are estimates only. They may vary due to supplier processing, authentication checks, third-party fulfilment, customs, carrier delays, public holidays, weather, or other factors outside our reasonable control.

Because some items may require sourcing, inspection, or authentication before dispatch, handling times may vary between products.

We will make reasonable efforts to deliver your order within the estimated timeframe. If there is a significant delay, we will contact you where practical.

Under Australian Consumer Law, services must be supplied within a reasonable time where no specific time has been agreed.


9. Global Orders and International Customers

Bellé Vie Archive may accept orders from customers located outside Australia, subject to product availability, shipping availability, payment approval, customs requirements, and our ability to fulfil the order.

By placing an international order, you acknowledge that delivery times, customs processing, import charges, taxes, inspections, and local delivery procedures may vary depending on your country or region.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, you are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees, local taxes, or other charges imposed by your country. These charges are not controlled by Bellé Vie Archive and are not included in the product price or shipping fee unless clearly stated.

International customers are responsible for ensuring that the item can legally be imported into their country. Bellé Vie Archive is not responsible for delays, seizures, restrictions, refused entry, or additional charges imposed by customs or local authorities, except where required by law.

Consumer protection laws may differ depending on your location. Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes, or modifies any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under the laws of your country or region.

For customers located in Australia, your rights under Australian Consumer Law continue to apply.

If an international order cannot be fulfilled, shipped, cleared, or delivered for reasons outside our reasonable control, we will review the situation and provide available options, which may include reshipment, refund, store credit, or cancellation, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.


10. Change of Mind Returns

Because Bellé Vie Archive sells curated, pre-owned, archive, and limited-availability items, we generally do not offer returns or refunds for change of mind, wrong size, wrong fit, or personal preference unless stated otherwise on the product page or required by law.

This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

You should carefully review product descriptions, measurements, condition notes, and images before placing an order.


11. Faulty Items

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy if an item:

  • is faulty;
  • is not of acceptable quality;
  • does not match the description;
  • is not fit for a disclosed purpose;
  • is unsafe;
  • fails to meet a consumer guarantee.

A business cannot remove a customer’s right to a refund or replacement for faulty products through store policies or Terms & Conditions.

For major failures, you may be entitled to reject the item and choose a refund or replacement. For minor failures, we may choose to repair, replace, or refund the item where appropriate.

You must not return an item without contacting us first. We will provide return instructions if a return is required.

Items returned without approval may not be accepted.


13. Items Damaged in Transit

If your item arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with photos of:

  • the item;
  • the packaging;
  • the shipping label;
  • any visible damage.

We will review the issue and work with the carrier, supplier, or fulfilment partner where necessary.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law still apply.


14. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • your shipping address is accurate;
  • your contact details are correct;
  • you review product details before ordering;
  • you are legally allowed to import the item into your country;
  • you collect or accept delivery of your parcel;
  • you pay any applicable customs or import charges.

We are not responsible for failed delivery caused by incorrect customer information, refusal to accept delivery, or failure to collect a parcel, except where required by law.

  • repairing the goods;
  • refunding the price paid;
  • providing an equivalent item;
  • paying the reasonable cost of repair or replacement.

21. Accuracy of Information

We try to keep product, pricing, shipping, and website information accurate and up to date.

However, errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, or cancel affected orders where reasonable.

If an error affects your order after payment, we will contact you and provide available options, including a refund where appropriate.

You and Belle Vie Archive submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
